Haggard on 18 was put together as another method of getting information out to professional truck drivers and getting their feedback on current issues within the trucking industry. The purpose is to inspire more drivers to become active in those issues and to let their voice be heard in areas such as safety, health, regulations, finance, etc.

The author of this blog, Jason Haggard has been involved in the commercial driving industry for 24 years with just under 20 of those years as a driver and the last 9 as an Owner Operator. About 5 years ago he took a long hard look at the industry and decided to become an advocate for professional drivers from all walks of life and this blog is an effort to further that goal.
